ORS Olive Oil No-Lye Relaxer Kit Normal is a no-lye relaxer system with built-in olive oil protection. The rich, easy-to-apply formula uses olive oil during the relaxing process to help protect hair from damage and impart moisture.

The kit includes a step-by-step guide for relaxing at home, plus a complete set of aftercare and styling products to support the routine from neutralising through to finishing. Available in normal and extra strength.

How to use

• Assemble everything needed before starting
• Protect hairline and ears with hair oil; for sensitive scalps, part hair and apply hair oil directly to the scalp before relaxing
• Put on the latex gloves provided, then pour Activator (B) into Base (A) and mix until completely smooth and lump-free for at least one minute
• Complete a strand test and follow the timing guide in the included step-by-step guide; do not exceed the maximum time on the timing chart
• Apply relaxer close to the scalp but not on the scalp; for touch-ups, apply to new growth only
• Smooth using the back of a comb or fingertips, starting where first applied, without exceeding the recommended time
• Rinse thoroughly with warm water, especially around ears, nape and hairline
• Neutralise with Olive Oil Creamy Aloe Shampoo: lather, rinse, repeat, then leave on for 2–3 minutes before rinsing
• Condition with Olive Oil Replenishing Pak: cover with a plastic cap and sit under a dryer for 10–15 minutes (or 45–60 minutes without heat), then rinse
• Style with Wrap/Set Mousse for wrapping or roller-setting; use Olive Oil Incredibly Rich Hair Lotion to protect hair from heat during blow-drying
