Kuhn Rikon Duromatic Top Pressure Cooker Side Grips

Designed and made in Switzerland, the Kuhn Rikon Duromatic Top Pressure Cooker Side Grips combines 18/10 stainless steel with a solid aluminium Superthermic® sandwich base for use on all heat sources, including induction hobs. A unique steam release system lets you turn the black valve to slow or rapid release, helping keep hands away from escaping steam.

Two side handles make it easy to lift, while the interior includes 1/2 and 2/3 fill level indicators for straightforward measuring. Two pressure settings support low or high pressure cooking by adjusting the hob heat, and the pan can also be used for browning before the lid is locked on or for conventional cooking without the lid.

Use and care

• Close the lid, place on the heat and wait until the pressure indicator lifts to the required pressure, then control pressure by adjusting the hob heat
• Release pressure by turning off the heat and allowing to cool, depressing the pressure indicator, or cooling the rim under tepid running water
• Follow the detailed instructions supplied with the pressure cooker
• Hand-washing is recommended using warm water and washing-up liquid
• Avoid abrasive cleaners and the use of dishwashers
• Do not use sharp objects such as knives, steel wool or scourers to remove stuck food
• Remove limescale with vinegar or lemon juice
