Synopses

The Brilliant World of Tom Gates

Tom records his days through drawings and stories, especially when he is trying to stay out of trouble at school. With a teacher watching closely, an irritating classmate nearby and family distractions at home, his plans rarely go smoothly.

At the centre of it all is a mission to get tickets to see DUDE3 when they come to town, even as one scheme after another lands him in major trouble.

Two weeks away from school gives Tom time to focus on what matters to him, from finding new ways to annoy Delia to practising with Dogzombies. There is also plenty of television and caramel wafers, repeated in the order that feels most important.
