Chewing programmes are provided for both the regular and extra tough versions, including advice on balancing chewing across both sides of the mouth and minimising cheek movement while chewing. An advanced programme combines the two versions, with Stronger Gum Extra Tough chewed for 10–15 minutes and the regular Stronger Gum chewed for 15–30 minutes.
