A precision pin tumbler cylinder with a paracentric keyway provides increased protection against manipulation, while automatic locking supports straightforward, repeatable use. The padlock is also described as anti-static and non-sparking for fuel lock off, making it a considered choice where those properties are required. Beyond securing goods, it can be used as a safety lock off, helping maintenance engineers isolate valves or switchgear so equipment cannot be activated until all engineers are clear of the system.
