Workbench Care Guide – MDF, UniMDF & Plywood Tops

To ensure long-lasting durability and stability, proper care and maintenance of your wooden workbench are essential. Our workbenches are crafted from high-quality kiln-dried timber, reducing moisture content to minimize warping, cracking, or splitting over time.

Protect the Wooden Frame: Apply a suitable wood finish or sealant annually to protect against moisture and wear, preserving the strength and appearance of the timber.

Maintain the Worktop Surface: Whether your workbench features an MDF, UniMDF, or Plywood top, applying a protective sealant (such as polyurethane, epoxy, or a waterproof finish) will help guard against moisture, spills, and scratches.

Regular Cleaning: Wipe down surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent to remove dust, debris, and stains. Avoid excessive water exposure to prevent swelling or damage.

Prevent Surface Damage: Use cutting mats, coasters, or protective pads when working with sharp tools, heavy objects, or liquids to maintain a smooth and durable worktop.
