Care

• Wipe away mud and road dirt using a damp cloth or mild soapy water

• Inspect the plastic periodically for cracks, sharp edges or excessive wear
• Replace the guard if it becomes significantly damaged

Assembly and setup

• Identify a suitable mounting position around the underside of the saddle or rear seat area
• Position the guard so that the longer section extends towards and above the rear wheel
• Use the available mounting hole and notches with an appropriate compatible fastening method
• Secure the guard firmly so it cannot move towards the tyre while riding
• Check that there is sufficient clearance between the guard and rear tyre
• Spin the wheel before riding to confirm that nothing rubs against the tyre
• Check the position and fastening regularly, particularly after riding over rough surfaces

• Always ensure the mudguard is securely fitted before riding
• Never allow the mudguard to rub against the bicycle tyre
