ATEK USB SATA External CD DVD Drive Enclosure Caddy Black

ATEK’s USB SATA External CD DVD Drive Enclosure Caddy is a compact external enclosure for a slim SATA laptop optical drive. It converts a compatible tray-style CD or DVD drive into a USB-connected external unit, offering a practical option where a built-in optical drive is not available. The slim black housing keeps the setup neat on a desk and easy to store or carry between locations.

Built for slim SATA laptop CD/DVD ROM drives, this enclosure uses a USB-to-SATA interface and includes a separate DC barrel power input for drives that require additional power. Front-panel markings show support for common CD and DVD read/write formats when a compatible drive is installed, and the images indicate broad compatibility with Windows XP, 7, 8, 10 and Mac. It suits everyday use such as reading discs, playback, data transfer and disc authoring with a writable compatible drive fitted.
