Auto World brings classic American styling to the track with the 1970 Chevy Baja Blazer in purple, built as an HO slot car for X-Traction off-road racing. Part of Release 1 (SC375), it pairs a ThunderJet body with Auto World’s ThunderJet Ultra G chassis, an adaptation of the early “pancake” chassis design originally developed by Aurora in the formative years of electric slot racing.

Set up for straightforward compatibility, it runs on Tomy and AFX sets and uses a neodymium traction magnet for added grip. The body mounts to the chassis with two small screws, keeping the construction true to the ThunderJet format. Supplied in a sealed blister pack, it suits collectors of HO-era slot racing as well as drivers building period-inspired grids.
