The tyre uses a flexible folding bead with 30 TPI construction for a lighter build than a traditional bicycle tyre. The butyl inner tube is inflated under pressure for 24+ hours to ensure no leaks, and it is finished with a Schrader valve for compatibility with the stated size range.
