The formula combines 68% rice bran water with 2% alpha-arbutin, bringing together a traditional Korean skincare ingredient with a modern brightening active.

Rice bran water has a long history of use in Korea, including during the Joseon Dynasty where it was used as “Beauty Water”. Rice bran is rich in amino acids and minerals, helping to moisturise dry skin. Alpha-arbutin works by inhibiting tyrosinase activity to limit melanin production in the skin, and is stated to have a 10 times greater effect than regular beta-arbutin.
