Berber Leather at Rackhams

Berber Leather is run by father-daughter team Paul and Beki from the beautiful town of Richmond in the Yorkshire Dales. Berber Leather was created in 2015 and brings beautiful ethically sourced leather bags and accessories from Morocco to the UK. All Berber Leather bags are handmade in small batches by master craftsman in Fez and Marrakech. The bags themselves are made from full-grain Moroccan Leather, some of the best leather to be found worldwide. Full grain leather is not sanded or changed in any way so it showcases the marks in the hide from the animals' lives and makes every single product unique. 

We believe in a practical product, whether it's a hard-wearing belt that will last years, a beautifully embossed purse that had space for all your cards, or a rucksack that will hold up to the good old British weather. We have worked tirelessly over the past decade to not only honour the skill that goes into our bags but to make sure we are creating products that will last a lifetime and getting better with age the more that they are used.
