Reusable by design, the filter balls can be cleaned by hand or in a machine, making them a practical choice for ongoing pool maintenance. Simply pour them into your filtration machine to get started. They filter down to 3 microns and are stated to reduce 98% of Escherichia coli bacteria and 99% of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. Compared with white filter balls, they also require less backwash frequency.
