Made from corrosion-resistant galvanised iron, the Berkfield gabion basket is built for stability and durability. The wire construction uses a 3.5 mm diameter and a 5 x 10 cm mesh, while strengthened gabion hooks connect the opposing wire panels tightly to help the structure hold its shape once filled. After assembly, simply fill the basket with stones or other suitable natural materials such as concrete, sandstone or coloured stone for immediate use.
