From the Bigjigs Rail Heritage Collection, the Eisenhower locomotive brings a detailed wooden replica from the golden age of rail to a wooden railway set. This model represents the engine later known as Dwight D. Eisenhower, first numbered 4496 in 1937 as Golden Shuttle, then renumbered 8 in 1946 under Edward Thompson's LNER renumbering scheme, and later 60008 after nationalisation in 1948.
Retired from service in 1963, the engine was moved to the National Railroad Museum in Green Bay, Wisconsin, United States. Magnetic couplings allow connection with other engines and carriages in the Bigjigs Rail range, and it is also compatible with most other major wooden railway brands. The packaging contains information about the engine's development and working life.
