Bigjigs Toys Mallard Tray Puzzle is a wooden jigsaw puzzle with a tray and a 35-piece design centred on the Mallard steam locomotive. The scene celebrates Mallard, built in Doncaster in 1938 and designed by Sir Nigel Gresley as an express locomotive for high-speed streamlined trains.

Mallard still holds the world speed record for steam traction at 126mph. It was retired in 1963 after covering almost one and a half million miles (2.4 million km), then restored to working order in the 1980s.
