Blue Nude Solange Wide Headband - Ochre

Solange is a fabric headband with a wide front and elasticized back. Ochre is a rich yellow colour, in a soft cupro and Lenzing Ecovero Viscose blend.

Solange's design is evocative of the glamorous wide headbands worn in Mediterranean climates, with an elasticized back to secure the hair. It features folds on the sides, giving the design tension and allowing for the width to be adjusted by the wearer, specific to their style and hair texture.

Sustainability

Solange in Ochre's fabric is 60% cupro and 40% Lenzing Ecovero Viscose.

Cupro consists of recycled cellulose that are sourced from discarded linters, a by-product of cotton processing. It is biodegradable, though it is chemically treated. Cupro is a great material for warm-weather clothing as it is more cooling than silk or other man-made fibres.

Viscose is a semi-synthetic material sourced from wood pulp. Ecovero is a type of Viscose which is traceable and sourced from controlled FSC-regulated European forests. It's manufactured in Austria by Lenzing, a leader in sustainable textiles. Viscose is biodegradable, though it is chemically treated.

Solange was crafted using leftover fabric from our studio, reducing waste and ensuring efficient use of our beautiful fabrics.

Care Instructions

Hand wash. Do not bleach. Hang to dry. Iron on a low setting. Dry cleaning possible.

Packaging

Our apparel products are shipped in a 100% compostable mailer. After removing the shipping labels, your mailer will decompose after six months in a household compost, or after three months in a commercial compost, leaving no harmful residues behind. Our stickers are also compostable as they are printed with soy-based inks.

Our tissue paper is made of 100% recycled pulp and our comp cards are printed on FSC-certified paper.
