From Patagonia’s Alto Valle del Rio Negro, Bodegas Verum Soul D Chardonnay 2020 is a full-bodied white wine shaped by a cool climate at 39 South. Made by Elias Lopez from vines planted in 2002, it combines bright citrus character with added depth from 11 months of ageing in 500-litre barrels.

The result is a Chardonnay with richness and structure, balanced by freshness from its southern origin. Notes of vanilla, butter and caramel bring a rounded, layered finish, making it well suited to the table where a fuller style of white wine is called for.
