From Brennenstuhl, the Moisture Detector Damp Meter is a digital moisture meter for checking the moisture content of wood and a wide range of building materials. Ideal for practical assessments at home or on site, it helps you take clear readings from surfaces including concrete, brick, screed, plasterboard and wallpaper.

Results are shown as a percentage on a large LCD display with 0.1% resolution, while an optional acoustic indication can be switched off when quieter operation is preferred. A hold function supports measuring in difficult-to-access areas, and the unit powers down automatically around 3 minutes after last use. The robust housing features a separate battery compartment for a 9V block, plus a protective cap designed to help protect the probes.
