The vineyard is south-facing and extends across 25 hectares, with 22 hectares in a single parcel between Châteaux Ausone and Pavie. Hillsides of calcareous clay give way to sandier lower slopes, while the planting is composed of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc.
