Large breed puppies grow very rapidly during the first year of life, which if not properly controlled, can lead to problems with their bones and joints in later life. An optimal calcium and phosphorus ratio, coupled with a good source of glucosamine, chondroitin sulphate and MSM, encourages the growth of strong bones and soft tissue (tendons and muscles) to support them through their adult life.

A high meat content (minimum of 44% chicken) encourages lean muscle growth, and helps prevent subcutaneous fatty deposits.

CLINIVET Large Breed Puppy contains linseeds and fishmeal, both of which are excellent sources of Essential Fatty Acids. These EFA’s help brain function and development in your puppy, and can help with behaviour and training.

CLINIVET Large Breed Puppy is suitable food for large breed puppies with an adult weight of more than 45kg from weaning up to one year old, and for the pregnant and nursing bitch.

• Natural Hypoallergenic - Clinivet is formulated without wheat, beef, lamb and soya products. These ingredients are known to be common allergens, and can contribute to conditions such as digestive upsets, dry, flaky and itchy skin, and a dull coat. By excluding these products from the diet, it is possible to reduce the occurrence of these allergic reactions.
• Supported Growth - Vitamins and minerals are essential to maintain health and growth and are involved in the metabolic reactions in the body. They are necessary for the development of strong bones and teeth, and in nerve and muscle action.
• Protected Immunity - A strong immune system is vital in keeping the body strong and healthy. This important defence mechanism protects the body from unwanted pathogens, and cells from oxidative damage.
