COIR CHIP HUSK

From Coir Chip Husk, this compressed coir chip block is a practical growing and bedding medium made from coconut husk, a fully renewable resource. Supplied in dehydrated form, it expands with water to make up to 9 litres, offering a versatile option for horticultural use, hydroponics and vivarium settings.

Suitable for orchids, planting mixes and mulching, the chips can be blended with soil, compost and other substrates to help create the right conditions for a range of plants. They are also widely used in reptile and amphibian enclosures, including for tortoises, lizards, snakes, frogs and spiders, as well as other pets that prefer humid or damp conditions. The chip texture also makes it useful for burrowing and nesting.
