From Silk & Bears, the Copper & Black Shibori Silk Scarf is a hand-dyed silk scarf shaped by a traditional resist-dyeing technique. Copper and black create an intricate, quietly dramatic pattern that emerges through folding, binding and dyeing, giving the piece a distinctive sense of depth and variation.

Hand-crafted in Nha Xa in northern Vietnam, where artisan silk traditions have been preserved for more than 700 years, it is woven from 100% pure mulberry habotai silk. The featherlight handle and natural lustre make it well suited to the shibori process and easy to wear in different ways, whether draped over the shoulders, knotted at the neck or folded as a headscarf. Each dyeing session produces its own result, so every scarf is unique.
