Crasto Touriga Nacional 2021 75cl

From Quinta do Crasto in the Douro, this 2021 Touriga Nacional is drawn from higher-altitude vineyards at around 300 metres, with plots selected according to the character of the growing season. The result is a poised Portuguese red with freshness, precision and a refined sense of place.

Blueberry and black cherry fruit sit at the centre, layered with vanilla, white pepper and cream. Given a little air, the aromatics open further into spiced lily, freesia and honeysuckle. Succulent in texture and notably pure in style, it drinks with immediate appeal yet also has the structure to reward time in the cellar.
