This blend is curated to attract a range of beneficial insects, including butterflies, bumblebees, honey bees and ladybugs. The mix is also described as appealing to hummingbirds. Supplied as 100% pure seed, it contains no filler grass seeds or other extenders.

For best results, sow on ground that is not overly rich and is free from perennial weeds. Prepare the soil by eliminating weeds through cultivation or herbicides, then plough or dig to bury surface vegetation. Harrow or rake to a medium tilth, before rolling or treading to create a firm surface. Seeds can be sown from February to June or September to November, with summer blooms from a spring sowing or the following spring from an autumn sowing.
