Synopsis

Jack’s grandpa is forgetful and does unexpected things, from wearing his slippers to the supermarket to serving Spam a la Custard for dinner. Despite this, he is still able to take to the skies in a speeding Spitfire and save the day.

The story is described as a portrait of the bond between a small boy and his grandpa, taking readers on a journey featuring Spitfires over London and great escapes through the city, in an adventure that blends comedy and heart.
