The colour is a deep, vibrant ruby, leading into intense aromas of ripe blackcurrant, whipped cream and hints of woodsmoke. On the palate, juicy acidity sits alongside satisfyingly chewy tannins, while a subtle note of crushed leaves adds complexity. Ready to drink now, it also has the structure to develop well over the next 5 to 10 years.
