Each solid slow-release spike is designed to deliver nutrients directly to the root zone, helping feed where it counts rather than leaving fertiliser on the surface where wind and rain can carry it away.

Pre-measured for straightforward use, they remove the need for mixing or measuring and offer a tidier alternative to liquid feeds. Suitable for feeding from spring through to autumn, they can also be used at the time of planting or during new growth. The spikes are hammered into the ground around the tree and are intended to provide season-long feeding with reduced run-off.

Care

Water well before application. After placing the spikes, water as usual and repeat every 8 weeks.

Safety information

Using a hammer and a flat surface item, drive the spikes below and level with the soil surface, then continue hammering until each spike sits at least two more inches below the surface.
