Diesel launched Only the Brave in 2009 as an oriental woody fragrance for men. The fragrance was aimed for all men who chose to be hero. Diesel Only the Brave opens up with mandarin and lemon then moves onto a blend of violet, coriander and cedar then finishes off with leather, benzoin, styrax, amber and labdanum that leaves a strong impresses between composition of the scent. The notes behind fragrance was created by Alienor Massenet, Olivier Polge and Pierre Wargnye.

Top notes: Mandarin orange and Amalfi lemon.

Heart notes: Violet, coriander and Virginia cedar.

Base notes: Leather, benzoin, styrax, amber and French labdanum.
