Dean and Dan Caten, twin brothers from Willowdale, Toronto, began their fashion journey in 1984 at the prestigious Parsons School of Design in New York City.
Eight years later, the Canadian duo relocated to Italy, driven by their vision to establish their own brand. After collaborating with some of Italy’s most renowned fashion houses, they debuted their first men’s collection under the DSQUARED2 label in 1995.
DSQUARED2’s philosophy blends Canadian imagery with impeccable Italian tailoring and a playful touch of sensuality. Their collections masterfully balance contrasts—sporty yet glamorous, relaxed yet extravagant, masculine yet feminine—crafting a unique take on alternative luxury.
