Ellis Rugby’s 1968 France Rugby sweatshirt zipper draws on France Rugby’s first-ever Grand Slam in 1968, captained by flanker Christian Carrère. The story behind the design follows the campaign’s results, including victories over Scotland (8 points to 6), Ireland (16 points to 6) and England (14-9) at Stade Colombes, before the decisive match against Wales at the Arms Park in Cardiff.
Made from soft touch, fleece lined 100% cotton, it is finished with a detailed appliqué crest, classic embroidery at the nape and a tricolour hoop feature. An antique bronze YKK zip completes the front. Each garment includes a ‘Story-Teller’ microchip in the label on the front, just above the hem, which can be scanned to launch a video on compatible smartphones.
Available in S–5XL.
