Ellis Rugby’s Canada Rugby 1932 Shirt draws on the Canadian team’s 1932 tour of Japan, when they played their first international match on 31 January 1932 at Hanazono Field in Osaka in front of over 20,000 spectators. The tour included a 29–13 win against Waseda University, alongside two test-match defeats to Japan.
Finished in bold red, the shirt carries an interpretation of the oversized 1932 Canada crest on the chest as a crest appliqué. The collar stand is detailed with “1932” and “CANADA” in gold embroidery, and a woven label sits near the hem to complete the vintage look.
