Ellis Rugby Eastern Suburbs Polo 1974

Ellis Rugby’s Eastern Suburbs Polo 1974 draws on the legacy of the Eastern Suburbs Rugby League team’s 1974 premiership season. The design references the club’s tenth title, won under coach Jack Gibson, and the 19–4 victory over Canterbury that ended a 29-year drought.

Finished in a red, off-white and blue colour scheme, it carries a classic Rugby League V across the chest. A vintage Eastern Suburbs crest appliqué sits prominently at the front, while a tricolour pattern runs along the arms. ‘EASTS’ is embroidered in gold on the back, and a woven label is placed near the hem. Part of Ellis Rugby’s Vintage Australian Rugby League collection, which also includes polos, T-shirts and rugby shirts.
