Ellis Rugby’s St Paul’s Rugby T-Shirt 1871 celebrates St. Paul’s Football Club as a founding member of the Rugby Football Union in 1871. Part of the 21 Club Collection, it connects to the meeting on 26th January 1871, when representatives from twenty-one London and suburban football clubs, including St. Paul’s FC, gathered at the Pall Mall Restaurant in Regent Street and agreed to form a Rugby Football Society, laying the foundations for the Rugby Football Union.
Made from satin touch 100% cotton, this piece is finished with a detailed applique of the St Paul’s crest, herringbone side vent detail and tape on the neck opening, plus Ellis Rugby branding on the arm. A ‘Story-Teller’ microchip is included in the garment label on the front, just above the hem, which can be scanned to launch a video on compatible smartphones.
