Ellis Rugby Vintage Rugby Team T-Shirt Invitation XV

Ellis Rugby’s Vintage Rugby Team T-Shirt Invitation XV draws on the heritage of Invitation Rugby teams and the early history of the Barbarians. Invitation XV rugby was conceived in 1890 at an Oyster bar in Bradford during a tour of Yorkshire and the Midlands by the Southern Nomads team, organised by William Percy Carpmael.

Made from satin touch 100% cotton, it carries the skull and crossbones motif as a smart appliqué on the front chest, with Ellis Rugby branding on the arm. Herringbone detailing on the side vents and velvet tape at the neck opening complete the finish. A ‘Story-Teller’ microchip is included; scan the garment label on the front, just above the hem, to launch the video on compatible smartphones.
