From Rioja, Escena Rioja Joven is a modern Spanish red made from 100% Tempranillo. Bottled at 13.5% ABV, it is released one to two years after bottling and made without oak influence, giving the wine a bright, fruit-led style with an easy, rounded character.

Black cherry and raspberry sit at the centre of the profile, with a touch of sweet vanilla spice and a creamy smoothness through the palate. Medium-bodied and fresh on the finish, it is a versatile bottle for the table, pairing well with cheeses, cold meats, vegetables, pasta, fish and grilled meats. It was recognised as a Champion in the Wines from Spain awards.
