Built around a 13.5 gauge open coil spring unit, it’s finished with wool padding on both sides for a comfortable, supportive sleep surface suited to children and lightweight sleepers.

Its versatile design makes it a strong choice for bunk beds, cabin beds and day beds, as well as other bed bases where a space-saving mattress is required for children, guests or occasional use. Upholstered in a durable blue check stitchbond polyester cover, the mattress is breathable and includes an air vent design to encourage airflow for a cooler sleep environment. Crafted in the UK, it meets UK fire safety regulations for domestic use (BS 7177:2008). For easier handling, it arrives compressed, vacuum-packed, rolled and boxed; simply unbox, unwrap and allow it to expand to its full size within hours.
