From Feuerhand, this Grill Insert for the Pyron Plate adds a focused, high-heat grilling point to your outdoor set-up, designed for relaxed cooking in the garden. Sitting neatly in the central opening of the Pyron Plate and on the Pyron Plate Cooking Support, it creates a compact grilling grate for direct fire contact, helping to produce characteristic grill stripes on foods such as steaks, vegetable skewers and fish fillets.

Finished in oiled steel and made in Germany, the insert is shaped to fit the Pyron Plate precisely, helping keep food securely positioned on the Griddle Plate. When the fire in the Pyron Fire Barrel has burned down, the insert can be lifted out with barbecue tongs to allow firewood to be added, before returning to grilling over the hottest part of the fire.
