For leather edge finishing, Fiebing's Gum Tragacanth 4oz/118ml is a traditional natural gum used to burnish and refine cut edges. Derived from Astragalus plant sap, it helps compress and seal edge fibres while creating the friction needed for a smooth, glass-like finish.

Suitable for leatherworkers, bookbinders and other craftspeople, it supports a cleaner edge that resists fraying and holds its finish through use. For edge burnishing, it can be mixed with water to form a paste.
