Fixaball 3.5mm Wood Screws Torx Countersunk High Performance ZYP Plus Bit

For timber and sheet material fixing, these ForgeFast Elite low-torque woodscrews combine a countersunk head with a deep Torx drive and a 3.5mm shank. Supplied by Fixaball, they are zinc yellow passivated and available in a choice of lengths from 3.5 x 12mm to 3.5 x 50mm.

A sharp point gives immediate bite from the first turn, while the twisted shank reduces friction during insertion. Recessed ribs beneath the head support self-countersinking, and the hardened case and core provide added strength. These screws are CE approved for load bearing timber construction and have a 35 bending angle to help resist shearing when timber flexes in use.

Care and maintenance

• Zinc coated fixings should only be used outside on permanent structures.
• When the zinc coating has corroded away, the fixing will bleed rust.
• Where possible, keep fixings hidden.

Safety information

• Check the drill, driver or gun is rotating clockwise for insertion and anticlockwise for removal.
• Set the speed to suit your experience when using the drill or driver.
• Hold the handle firmly to lock your wrist.
• Keep the drill bit square with the screw to avoid damaging the material or your finger.
• Pulse the trigger to start the screw.
