Fixaball Metric Fine Machine Taps HSS Osborn Quality 1st 2nd 3rd

For cutting metric fine internal threads, these Osborn machine/hand taps are available in 1st, 2nd and 3rd forms to suit different stages of thread cutting. Made for engineers and workshop use, they are used in a pre-drilled hole so that a matching fastener can be screwed in.

The range covers metric fine thread sizes from M3 x 0.35 MF up to M30 x 2MM MF, with taper lead, second lead and bottom lead options across selected sizes. Using a suitable lubricant helps produce better quality threads and extends tap life. These taps are manufactured to ISO 529/ BS 949.
