These Eye and Eye Turnbuckles are used for tightening, tensioning and adjusting many in wire rope applications.

These particular turnbuckles are open bodied, meaning that the thread is visible, this allows the user to monitor the rate of turning.

They are manufactured using Galvanised Steel for strength and rust protection. The bodies have also been heat treated for extra strength and the eyes are forged resulting in a much stronger eye.

They are also sometimes knows as Straining Screws and can be used with both Chain and Cable.

These are hugely popular within the Caravanning industry.
