Its open-bodied design leaves the thread visible, allowing you to monitor the rate of turning during adjustment.

Manufactured from hot dipped galvanised steel, it combines strength with rust protection. For added durability, the body is heat treated, while the eyes are forged to create a stronger eye. Also known as a straining screw, this turnbuckle can be used with both chain and cable, and is particularly popular within the caravanning industry.
