Horse or pony tack storage rack - for a stable, tack room, shed or garage.

The GearHooks Tack Rack® has storage space for all your riding gear in one place so its off the floor, can dry out properly, is easy to find and quick to put away.

Keeping your horse tack tidy, clean and dry in a stable, tack room shed or even your garage can be a problem if you don't have a simple and effective way to store it .

If you leave your horse riding gear in a pile on the floor it will get kicked around and dirty and if it's wet it will remain damp, go fusty and eventually rot. If its accessible to vermin, like mice and rats, it will get chewed and gnawed, rendering it useless.

3 different versions of the Tack Rack® are available (with and without the saddle rack):

TR3 - has the 1 metre long rail + 3 Tack Hooks (no saddle rack)

TR6 - has the 1 metre long rail + 6 Tack Hooks (no saddle rack)

TRS4 - has the 1 metre long rail + 4 Tack Hooks + 1 Saddle Rack

All versions include a 1 metre long rail which is galvanised and powder coated. It fixes with just 3 holes and heavy duty fixings to any wood, brick or block wall, so it's a doddle to fit.

The optional Saddle Rack is manufactured from heavy duty galvanised steel and sits in the gullet of the saddle so it doesn't mark the flocking. It is 450mm long and suitable for child and adult saddles up to 18".

The Tack Hooks are each 300mm long and made from 8mm thick galvanised steel. They are a double prong design with a 12mm gap so tack can be hung over both prongs, between the prongs or over one prong.  Each one will take several bits of tack like saddle pads, cinch, horse blankets, waterproof coats, bridles, bits, reins, leads and all the other bits of tack. There is also space for some personal gear like waistcoats, high viz jackets, helmets and boots. These fit anywhere on the rail with just an Allen key and can be moved quickly and easily.

Each GearHooks Tack Rack® could, for instance hold a mixture of:

• 1 saddle on a saddle rack/post (optional)

Each Tack Hook could hold lots of different tack on each hook like a mixture of:

• 1-5 saddle pads
• 1-5 horse blankets
• 1-2 waterproof horse coats
• 1-10 bridle, reins and bits
• 1-4 girths and cinches
• several lead ropes
• and almost any other tack you can think of
• Plus personal equipment like:
• 1-4 helmets
• 1 pair of riding boots
• 1 body protector/waistcoat
• safety gear like a high viz jacket
• wet weather gear
• and almost anything else you can think of

You can move the hooks around on the rail to create space for whatever you need to store and can add or remove Tack Hooks whenever you want. This enables you to create a completely customised tack storage rack just for you!
