Genus Japanese Gardening Knife - Large

From Genus, the Japanese Gardening Knife - Large is a traditional Higonokami folding knife made by the Nagao Kanekoma factory. Long established in Japanese homes, it brings a considered, practical design to everyday garden and household tasks.

Hot forged from high carbon steel and ground by hand, this folding knife has the sharp edge associated with Japanese knives and can be re-sharpened with ease. The brass handle is shaped to sit comfortably in the hand, while the folding design allows it to slip neatly into a pocket when not in use. Suitable for gardeners and anyone who values a compact, well-made cutting tool, it also makes a thoughtful gift.
