Green Day ‘American Idiot’ is a limited edition red, white and black swirl 2LP vinyl pressing of the band’s seventh studio album, originally released on September 20, 2004. The record is a concept album described by the band members as a “punk rock opera”, centred on the character Jesus of Suburbia.

The album reflects disillusionment and dissent among a generation shaped by events including the Iraq War. It charted in 27 countries, reached number one in 19, sold 16 million copies worldwide, and won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album in 2005.
