This fitting works particularly well with retro-style light bulbs, and it can also be paired with lamp shades to create a semi-flush look; Happy Homewares recommends shades between 8" and 14". For flexible ambience, the light fitting is dimmable when used with a compatible dimmable bulb, and it can also be used with LED and low energy bulbs if preferred.
