A shade reducer ring is fitted to support E27, E14 and B22 bulb bases. It takes 1 bulb up to a maximum of 40 watt, with LED and low energy bulbs also suitable. During manufacture, oil is used in the process; wipe away any excess with a dry cloth before first use for a clean finish.
