Synopses

Heartstopper Volume One

Charlie and Nick go to the same school but have never met, until they are made to sit together. They become friends, and Charlie starts to fall for Nick despite thinking he has no chance. Nick may be more interested in Charlie than either of them realised.

Heartstopper Volume Two

Nick and Charlie are best friends. Nick knows Charlie is gay, and Charlie is sure Nick is not. As their bond deepens, Nick begins discovering new things about his friends, his family and himself.

Heartstopper Volume Three

Charlie and Nick are officially boyfriends, and Nick has found the courage to come out to his mum. Nick learns that coming out is not a one-time event, with more friends and family to consider, as well as a school trip to Paris. As their feelings grow more serious, they need each other more than ever.

Heartstopper Volume Four

Charlie and Nick are still together, and Charlie is beginning to feel ready to say “I love you”. Nick feels the same, but has a lot on his mind, including coming out to his dad and the possibility that Charlie might have an eating disorder.

Heartstopper Volume Five

Nick and Charlie are very much in love and have finally said “I love you”. Charlie has almost persuaded his mum to let him sleep over at Nick’s house, but with Nick going off to university next year, they wonder whether everything is about to change.
