As animal hides are a natural product. Each hide has its own characteristics and will differ slightly in shape, size and colour. If you are not entirely happy with your sheepskin, simply return it to us within 14 days and we will refund you.

Sheepskin Care and Maintenance

Sheepskin Rugs are generally very easy to look after, in fact you really do not have to do anything with them and they will still last for many years. But if you want to keep them looking like new then the following tips will help.

Sheepskin Rugs have a built in natural barrier protecting them from outside elements. They will benefit from regular vigorous shaking which will help to maintain and restore the natural soft appearance. The sheepskin will also benefit from regular vacuuming on medium suction using standard nozzle attachment only. Do not use rotating vacuum head attachment. A sheepskin Rug Brush is recommended to be used once a month to straighten out the fleece and to stop the wool fibres from matting.

Please note: Machine or hand washing may affect the appearance of the natural wool fibres, colour and the leather pelt. Do not expose this dyed hide to strong light and direct sunlight, to ensure there is no fading and colour change. Colour transfer may occur if placed on a wet or light surface.
